Installation & Setup Guide

Follow these steps to install the app and configure your system to allow our advanced stealth engine to operate.

macOS Installation

macOS 15 Sequoia or later · Apple Silicon & Intel

This app requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later. If you're on an older version, please update via System Settings → General → Software Update before installing.

    Open the Installer

    Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount the disk image. A Finder window will open automatically.

    Move to Applications

    Drag and drop the GhostApp by TsarChat.com icon into the Applications folder shortcut shown in the window.

  3. Allow the App to Open

    Because this app uses private macOS APIs for stealth, it is not distributed via the Mac App Store. macOS Sequoia will block it on first launch — follow either method below. You only need to do this once.

    Option A — Terminal (fastest, one command)

    Open Terminal (Spotlight: ⌘ Space→ type "Terminal"), then run:

    xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Kalimaa.app

    This removes only the download quarantine flag — recursively across all bundled frameworks — so the app opens normally by double-clicking.

    Now open your Applications folder and double-click GhostApp by TsarChat.com to launch it. If the app still won't open, follow Option B below.

    Option B — System Settings (no Terminal)

    Use this only if Option A didn't work.

    • Double-click the app. macOS will show a "can't be opened" dialog — click Done to dismiss it.
    • Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
    • Scroll to the Security section. You will see "GhostApp by TsarChat.com was blocked to protect your Mac."
    • Click Open Anyway, enter your Mac password, then click Open on the final prompt.

  4. Grant Required Permissions

    GhostApp by TsarChat.com needs two system permissions to function. macOS will prompt you on first launch, but you can also grant them manually by following the steps below.

    Screen & System Audio Recording

    Required
    • Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
    • Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.
    • Click the + button, navigate to your Applications folder, and select GhostApp by TsarChat.com.
    • Toggle the switch next to GhostApp by TsarChat.com to on. You may be asked to quit and relaunch the app.

    Accessibility

    Required
    • Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
    • Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
    • Click the + button, navigate to your Applications folder, and select GhostApp by TsarChat.com.
    • Toggle the switch next to GhostApp by TsarChat.com to on.

Windows 11 Recommended

Not on Windows 11 yet?

GhostApp by TsarChat.com installs and runs on Windows 10, but advanced stealth features including full screen share invisibility depend on Windows 11 system APIs and will not be available. For the complete experience, we strongly recommend upgrading to Windows 11.

    Run the Installer

    Double-click the downloaded .exe file. No administrator rights are required — the app installs to your personal user folder.

    • Click Next through the setup wizard.
    • Click Install, then Finish. The app will launch automatically.
    • GhostApp by TsarChat.com runs silently in the background. Look for the icon in your system tray (bottom-right of taskbar).
    SmartScreen Warning

    If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", the app is self-signed — this is expected. Click More info → Run anyway to proceed.

  2. If the App is Blocked or Disappears

    GhostApp by TsarChat.com uses low-level system hooks to stay invisible on screen shares. This causes false positives with antivirus software — the app may be quarantined or silently removed right after install. Follow these steps to recover it.

    Step A — Restore from Quarantine (Windows Defender)

    • Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection.
    • Click Protection history.
    • Find the blocked GhostApp by TsarChat.com entry → click Actions → Restore.
    • Then continue to Step B to add an exclusion so it isn't blocked again.
    Using a different antivirus? First add the exclusion in Step B below, then re-run the .exe installer — your AV will no longer interfere.

  3. Step B — Add Antivirus Exclusion

    Add the install folder as an exclusion so your AV never quarantines GhostApp by TsarChat.com again. The folder to exclude is:
    C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\Kalimaa

    Windows Defender (default on Windows 11)

    • Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection.
    • Click Manage settings under "Virus & threat protection settings".
    • Scroll to Exclusions → click Add or remove exclusions. Confirm the UAC prompt.
    • Click + Add an exclusion → Folder → navigate to and select the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder. Applied automatically.

    Norton 360 / Norton Antivirus Plus

    • Open Norton → click Security in the left pane → click Open in the Scans tile.
    • Click the Exclusions tab → click Add.
    • Click the browse icon, navigate to the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder, and click OK.
    • Click Add to confirm, then Apply → OK.

    McAfee Total Protection

    • Open McAfee → click PC Security.
    • Click Real-Time Scanning → Excluded Files.
    • Click Add file, browse to the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder, and click Open. Applied automatically.

    Avast / AVG Antivirus

    • Open Avast or AVG → click the Menu (☰) icon → Settings.
    • Go to General → Exceptions → click Add exception.
    • Click I understand risks → select the File/Folder tab → browse to the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder.
    • Click OK then Add to save.

    Bitdefender Total Security / Antivirus Plus

    • Open Bitdefender → click Protection in the sidebar → click Open under Antivirus.
    • Go to the Settings tab → click Manage Exceptions.
    • Click + Add an Exception → browse to or type the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder path.
    • Ensure Antivirus is toggled on, then click Save.

    Malwarebytes

    • Open Malwarebytes → click the Settings gear icon.
    • Click the Exclusions tab → click Add Exclusion.
    • Select Files and Folders → browse to the GhostApp by TsarChat.com folder → click OK. Applied automatically.
